A British colonial late Regency or William IV desk in teak with rosewood trim and ebony inlay. Three rosewood framed drawers with turned rosewood handles are fitted below the well carved solid top. The central drawer has a working lock and key of superb quality engineering. The sides are inlaid with banded ebony stringing inlay. A geometric reeded carved pattern below the apron and with carved and turned "Raj Style' legs with reeded details, raise this solid timber desk.
