Large pair glazed Medici urns Empire

Large neoclassical antique pair yellow glazed campagna urns with lion handles French early 19th century . These gorgeous Medici style neoclassical urns are hand formed in terracotta with superb details and attention to correct classic proportions. They have a gorgeous sienna yellow glaze. Made of two separate sections consisting of bowl with lion head handles and pedestal plinth joined in the centre. The superb yellow glaze is traditional to southern French Faience pottery especially in Anduze. Very good condition, no chips or cracks no maker's signatures . Priced as a Pair
