Superb carved gilt oval Rococo mirror

Antique French oval rococo giltwood mirror with superbly carved frame highlighted in water gilt brilliant finish and matt gilt details and is a value point. Raised on Italian rococo dolphin feet the solid wooden frame with acanthus scrolls flowers and rocaille top. Hand drawn crystal glass with mercurial silvered backing. The quality of this mirror is jewell like in its carvings and gilt finish and was obviously made for a very affluent houshold. French Circa 1840 in the very early 18th century Louis XIV manner.
