Georgian period wardrobe armoire 1770's

18th century Georgian wardrobe tallboy with superb patina polished mahogany. Made in the provincial manner this armoire wardrobe has original faux painted sides and interior and large capacity interior for hanging cloths. Two doors with fielded front top panel with satinwood stringing and cross banding. A pair of faux drawer fronts to each door. A full length lower drawer and raised on shaped apron and Sheraton legs. Original bronze ring pull handles with neoclassical urn motif. Minor ancient restorations to veneers and in good condition . Ornate brass escutcheons and drawer handles.
