Art Deco period Danish pair of armchairs. The traditional antique Biedermeier revival style in solid mahogany. The gentle ergonomic upholstered back upholstered in red stripe linen fabric alludes to the Danish flag. Drop in seats upholstered in the same vintage upholstery fabric. Solid shaped mahogany armrests raised on elegant curved supports joining the tapering legs with stepped details. Very much in the French Empire manner but simplified and more elegant in keeping with Scandinavian aesthetics. The seats and backs with vintage rouge linen cloth could easily be recovered to your liking
