Tallboy cabinet on chest 1835 marquetry

Antique European Empire Biedermeier tallboy cabinet on chest with ornate Roman style marquetry inlay. This beautiful and practical cabinet is in original condition with superb quality intarsia in satinwood inlaid to flame mahogany. The top with a fitted full width frieze drawer and below this two doors open revealing a large storage space. four more drawers fitted below all with meandering marquetry and penwork fruitwood inlays. The cabinet flanked by facetted Gothic columns and raised on turned bun . Each drawer and door opens with traditional steel keys and original working locks.
