Tall Empire mahogany wall mirror 1820

Empire mahogany mirror with arched pediment top . Original patina to frame and with original silvered glass, a value point as antique mirror glass was usually more expensive to produce than the wooden frame that held them. The architectural top above a shield shaped inserted frame in flame mahogany. This panel is flanked by turned and carved empire pilaster columns. Original silvered mirror glass is a value point . a fielded panel below the glass with curved stepped insert completes the mirror frame. Good original polished condition and patina.
