Pair Brazilian rosewood French armchairs

Antique French carved pair of rare solid Brazilian rosewood armchairs in the transitional Louis XV manner. Unusual to find such wonderful craftsmanship and in solid Brazillian rosewood pallisander. The big seats and back have been re-upholstered in french dove blue fabric and the spring seat with hand stitched horsehair padding is in excellent condition. The large and very comfortable seats with springs which is unusual for period chairs of the 19th century. Carved cabriole front legs raised with bronze sabot and castors.
