An english Regency period centre table of Penbroke form . The top with string inlaid ebony and two fall leaves. Below the top is a single fitted drawer with turned knobs and original brass lock. Raised on elegant turned column support with four sabre legs also inlaid in ebony stringing and terminating in original brass feet and castors. Each leaf can be raised independently, 54/78/105cm This type of table is very versatile as it can be used in front of a sofa for late night suppers or as occassional table . The castors allow it to be easily moved around a room.
