An elegant late 18th century oak secretaire desk on chest in the English Georgian manner. The upper compartment with two fielded doors below a carved dentil molding. These doors open with their original lock and key to reveil a fitted shelf and three internal drawers. Below this is a fall front writing slope that opens with lock and key to reveil a fitted compartment with 8 drawers and three pigeon holes. The desk height is standard 76cm and is 110cm wide and opens to a 53cm depth.
The cabinet still retains its original wrought iron carry handles. Painted duck egg blue gold leaf gilded.
