Georgian writing desk bureau chest 1750

Gorgeous antique 18th century oak bureau desk on chest, with fall front writing surface that opens with a key and original lock to reveal 8 internal stepped drawers and compartments and a further four drawers behing a locked inlaid central door, complete with key. Two pull out desk rests flank each side of the first drawer and three draduated size drawers fitted below. The whole resting on original squat shaped legs. The desk writing surface height is 78cm from floor. Lovely original patina adds to the charm of this original antique piece. English 18th century
