Mahogany Secretaire chest of drawers1840

Superb Antique Flame Mahogany Secretaire Chest. Circa 1840's. All drawer fronts are book matched flame mahogany. This chest is a petite size comprising four drawers, one of which houses the Secretaire. The Secretaire interior has seven drawers, Gothic style embellished pigeon holes and a leather writing surface There are some old repairs to the top which could easily be covered with a decorative runner, doilies, books etc.
