French Empire gilt bronze clock

Superb Quality French gilt bronze and brown patinated bronze gothic inspired clock with Charles X cut crystal inserts. The ormolu mounts are mercury firegilt of course and of the quality of Thomire. They are beautifully chiselled and are perfect right round, so that they can reflect in a mantle mirror. The gilt bronze dial with painted enamel roman numerals and Breguet steel hands.
