The well carved acanthus border and with serpentine front that features 5 big drawers all in polished mahogany with original locks and working keys. This well made Georgian style flat top desk with 5 flame mahogany front cock beaded drawers raised on well carved Chippendale legs with acanthus scroll and claw and ball feet. London circa 1890. The desk top with original leather inlaid top with tooled edge that has the rich patina of a well loved library, a value point .
