Antique Austrian Empire tabouret stool Biedermeier seat bench in blonde walnut 1820's with recently recovered green upholstered fabric seat . Good original shellac patina finish. Solid blonde walnut construction nice and sturdy with only minor signs of wear consistent with age and character. This type of antique window seat would have graced the formal salon to a fine home and are ideal as hallway seats or end of a bed bench.
