French Louis XIII carved walnut armchair

French Louis XIII walnut armchair with ornate carved details and woolwork tapestry upholstery 1860 in the baronial manner. The well shaped sturdy carved solid walnut frame with acanthus scrolls and barley twist carving and with original baroque tapestry woolwork seat and back. The generous sized seat has recently been restored under the fabric whilst retaining the original hand knotted woolwork upholstery. A few minor wear marks to the middle of the wool seat fabric, see last image, but nicely conserved to the sub upholstery in order to retain the original look and material. Napoleon III
