Pair Victorian solid walnut carved bergere tub armchairs in French Louis XV style 1850 recent upholstery. Very well carved and very comfortable these diamond button back tub chairs with recent velvet fabric completely reupholstered a decade ago. Beautifully carved in solid walnut with superb scroll work all in original shellac polished patina. These sturdy armchairs with generous sized seat and back in faun or mushroom coloured velvet are perfect to sink into and the diamond button back and spring support upholstery give great comfort.
