Welsh Nantgarw Plate

A rare and pretty Nantgarw plate in the manner mid-18th century Sevres. Beautifully painted with sprays of flowers, ladybeetles and flying insects, , the plate is just over 23 cm in diameter. It is (almost invisibly) impressed with "Nantgarw" in the centre of the back, which is only clear when a strong light shines through the translucent soft paste porcelain. Nantgarw was made 13 kms from Cardiff in Wales. This is at our Camberwell Antiques Centre cabinets just inside the door, in the foyer.
