H. Tebbitt watercolour Winter landscape

Original watercolour painting of a tranquil farmhouse set in a Winter Landscape. Signed by the noted English Australian artist Henri Tebbitt (1852-1927 Rose Bay Sydney). Tebbit was born of English parents in Paris and continued to travel broadly. He exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1884 and came to Australia in 1889. His artistic skill is best appreciated in watercolours and some of these large scale paintings were acquired by leading Australian art galleries. Smaller size watercolours by Tebbitt were quite rare.
