Antique original French Empire green marble clock signed Robillard Soissons to enamel dial ormolu mounts made by the important clock maker Samuel Marti. The elegant green marble case with curved top and gilt bronze ormolu mounts and mouldings to plinth base. The original enamel dial is signed by the retailer Robillard in Soissons and features Roman numerals and blue steel Breguet hands. 8 day mechanism with silvered bell strike It strikes the hour on a two train movement. The works are stamped by maker Samuel Marti of Paris who received a gold medal at the Grand Exhibition Paris 1900
