French writing desk ebony black rococo

Antique French Louis XV style writing desk with wide drawer writing slide and ornate carved legs 1855 Napoleon III. The serpentine shaped top in piano black ebonized finish with an original slide out tooled gilt leather writing desk surface. This pulls out easily with the mother of pearl inlaid knobs. Below this is a serpentine front deep drawer with gilt bronze rococo ormolu hanldes and escutcheon . Original working lock and steel key. The desk has a beautiful black french polished finish all round and would suit many interior styles. Pull out desk height 77cm width 80cm, depth 47 cm
