Antique blonde Biedermeier fall front desk with fitted interior from Sweden in the Empire manner circa 1820. The straight front facade with book matched blonde elm veneers and with bronze Empire escutcheons. The top drawer opens like all the others, with a key in the traditional minimalist manner. The writing desk below opens with a different key and reveals an interior with seven drawers and central door compartment. Three drawers below all open smoothly thanks to the attention to drawer runners and smooth glides replaced adjusted as needed to make operation trouble free. South Sweden
