The gorgeous shape and finish is hard to find outside Sweden and this sofa is also upholstered with a cotton covered matress and matching cushions..ideal for lounging on as a day bed. King Gustav III of Sweden introduced the French neoclassical style of Louis XVI to the court of Sweden and in the scandinavian way the designes were lighter and more elegant than the more heavy poposity of the Paris style.
