Pair Regency inlaid side chairs mahogany

Pair Regency mahogany side chairs ornate carved backsplat ebont inlaid original finish circa 1810. Antique Regency period chairs are usually much smaller in size but these chairs were made for the more prosperous gentry with large seats and the proper modern seat height of 49cm. Presperity has further been enhanced by the comfort of coild spring support under the seats. The solid mahogany backs with inlaid ebony stringing and reeded mouldings that are accentuated by the reeding in the sabre legs.
