Rare set of 3 Georgian 19th century spice bowls table salts with cut facette bowls and dentilled edge Cork 1810 The narvette shaped bowls with dentilled or castellated top and facette cut bowl raised on Diamond shaped pedestals. This is a classic example of Georgian era Irish cut glass luxury. In Georgian England glassware was taxed before it was cut and shaped ie in the raw. The talent for quality glass blowers moved to the coastal regions in Ireland such as Waterford and Cork with ready access to sea freight. The finished cut and polished glass was taxed as it arrived in England
