Queen Anne period fold over tea table in rare heavy Cuban mahogany original circa 1710 . Tables such as these are very very rare. By the mid 18th century virtually all the Cuban mahogany had been felled. Cuban is far heavier and denser that Honduras mahogany and highly prized. Tea had only just become fashionable amongst the aristocracy . It was also very very expensive and very limited to the most wealthy.
