Pr French Empire 1810 fauteuil armchairs

Pair French Empire period fauteuil armchairs with carved and painted frames with luxurious silk fabric. The original chair frames with pegged joints as was traditional of the period. Painted in antique french grey and soft powder blue to contrast of timeless elegance. They have been fully restored 5-10 years ago. Being period chairs they are of course a little on the smaller scale. The exquisite silk fabric albeit with a minor water stain to one armrest cushion.
