Pair Regency chairs black ebonized

Pair ebonised antique Regency chairs with ornate carved backs rattan seats and tie on squab cushions. The carved trafalgar backs with rope edge top rail over detailed carved back splat. Raised on four sabre legs with rattan seats and also have loose tie back squab cushions for extra comfort. The vintage lemon yellow cotton with frilled edges. Antique Regency period chairs are usually much smaller in size but these chairs were made for the more prosperous gentry with large seats. Most likely Anglo Indian Raj 19th century made in the Regency manner of 1810. Black ebony finish.
