French Louis XV provincial blonde elm writing desk bureau plat carved legs and real leather inset top. The solid elm top with highly figurative wood grain is set with three gilt edge tooled leather panels. Polished all round the public sideor front face of the desk consists of an antique 18th century panel with parquetry inserts and pegged construction with carved mouldings. The business side of the desk with a removable centre drawer flanked by two pairs of drawers. The centre drawer can be removed if requiring a really tall legroom desk chair .
