Antique 19th century armchair in solid mahogany. The gentle ergonomic sloping back with curved back splat is joined by carved solid mahogany armrests that join the front legs with turned neoclassical urn shaped details. Very much in the French Empire manner but simplified and more elegant Art Deco in keeping with Scandinavian aesthetics.
The seat with vintage grey cloth could easily be recovered to your liking in your favourite upholstery material.
Minor ancient repairs but good and strong see photos.
Raised on tapering front legs and sabre rear legs in the Biedermeier and Regency manner.
