Provincial pine bureau desk 1770's

18th century Scandinavian Provincial pine bureau writing desk on chest with fitted interior and wrought iron handles. The solid desk with original desk top lock and working key opens to reveal two drawers and shaped shelves with beautiful waxed patina. The drop front desk opens with its original steel key to reveal a writing surface of w 111cm and at a convenient height of 71cm. Original wrought iron carry handles to the sides makes relocation a breeze. Below the ornate scroll carved fall front are four drawers, 3 with wrought iron handles and the top document drawer with turned knob.
