Large leather top coffee table Regency

Superb Regency style gilt tooled patinated leather and mahogany coffee table with four drawers all nice and sturdy. The beautiful rich dark mahogany is complimented by a patinated vintage leather inlaid top and sides with lots of character. Four drawers are fitted into the apron and open very smoothly and are oak lined. Each pulls open with an ornate brass knob. Raised on turned and reeded legs in the Regency manner. Antique tables of these proportions did not exist before the 20th century hence this bespoke made piece fits the designer's requirements, possibly by Maitland Smith.
