Bow front chest of drawers 1820 Danish

An antique Danish Empire bow front chest of 4 drawers. The mahogany veneered solid oak curved front or bow front body with crossbanded ebony molding. Top drawer usually reserved for finery of shallow design with working key and lock. All drawers are fitted with working locks. Raised on chamfered tapering legs to front and back legs. This gorgeous Biedermeier period chest would suit many uses and is perfect for hallways or bedsides. Good original patina finish. All drawers open very smoothly and runners have been well serviced and replaced where required for another 100 years service
