Mahogany pier cabinet bedside 1845

Antique original Scandinavian small pier cabinet mahogany and flame mahogany with internal shelves and working locks and key 1845. The top in gorgeous polished mahogany over a full-width drawer with gilt bronze handle. A panel front door below with working lock and key. Raised on turned front legs and block back feet. This Danish original circa 1845 is of the late Biedermeier period which influenced the elegance and design of the Art Deco period of the early 20th century.
