Colonial solid rosewood armoire wardrobe

Rare French colonial armoire two door wardrobe in heavy solid rosewood with fitted drawers 1860 Nalopeon III colonial era. Beautiful architectural solid rosewood pelmet with a rounded corners is typical of the French Louis Philippe and 2nd Empire style of 1820-1835. The two doors with double plank insert panels to solid rosewood frames with brass hinges. An ebony inlaid escutcheon to each door. Hand forged Empire lock and working key supplied. Once opened the interior features three removable shelves. The centre shelf with two straight front drawers below. Original polished finish
