Colonial Cedar and Blackwood Hall Chairs C1870 Nsw Origin. C1870 A matching set of three. Skillfully carved backs of elegant shape and form. From the workshop of Roderick Mc Donald- Braidwood Nsw. He was active from 1852-98. All the chairs have paper labels. Roderick exhibited at The Sydney International Exhibition of 1879 where he was admired for his elegant designs and carving of a suite in Nsw Blackwood.
