Blonde desk chair armchair N Sweden 1830

Antique provincial blonde Karl Johan period desk armchair of the late Empire Biedermeier period. The lower armrests of the chair is ideal as a fauteuil a Bureau used in front of a fall front writing desk. This provincial armchair is a beautifully made in solid ash wood and elm construction with elegant shaped details and with traditional pegged constructions. It features excellent curved ergonomic armrest supports and is raised on sabre legs all in solid blonde ash wood. The chair retains a gorgeous polished patina and has a later drop in seat in vintage woven kelim. Northern Sweden 1830
