Large proportioned engraved claret jug. The helmet shaped spout is rimmed with beading and covered with a hinged lid with a fruit finial set in a leaf decoration. Has a large angular handle.Narrow neck with engraved shoulders with beading around.The main body is panelled and engraved throughout. Each panel has a blank oval shaped cartouche. Short stem with beading around on a stepped circular base.Hall Marked London 1876. 25 troy oz.
