| Victorian mirror backed washstand.
This washstand is in fantastic condition apart from a small piece (approx 1”) of marble chipped from the right hand side at the rear. The washstand is on wheels and has two doors, one drawer, 3 bevelled mirrors with a shelf beneath, plus large storage shelf on the bottom. The tiles are in beautiful condition. Approx. measurements are: 5 ft 5 inches high (1.65 mt), 4 ft 5 inches wide (1.36 mt), 1 ft 10 inches deep (56cm).

This petite Edwardian kauri washstand is in good original condition. It boasts a gorgeous pink and gray marble top and emerald green tiles in the splash back. The picture tiles are echoed in the central curved motif. The original patina is nicely aged and it retains its original handle and ceramic castors.

| Victorian Kauri Washstand c.1885
This gorgeous washstand or sideboard is constructed with sold kauri and incorporates classic Victorian elements such as intricate piercing, repetitive spindles, three beveled mirrors and highly decorative brass handles. The piece was made in Melbourne by Danish furniture manufacturer, George Christian Clauscen and bears the maker’s stamp, Clauscen & Co 194-196 Bourke Street, Melbourne. It is in good original condition and has had minimal restoration. The pink marble is cracked but this has been repaired and is sound. The piece would be an elegant addition to any bathroom, dining room or lounge room.

Its all about quality, style and practicality when it comes to this exceptional and very rare French Pull out mirror back marble top wash stand with approx circa around the 1870’s. It presents in exceptional condition considering its age as its evident in the photos, its free from any serious damage, repairs, imperfections. The mirror and marble are in great order as well without any serious damage or imperfections what so ever. Consisting of two stepped doors to the base, further two drawers directly above and the last but not least the wonderful pull out marble top area, I Urge you to view the video to fully grasp the concept of how this piece actually operates as its all there.
