| Fossil Megalodon shark tooth
This is a fossilised "Megalodon" shark tooth from the giant prehistoric shark Megalodon which grew to the size of killer whales or larger. This particular example is a relatively small example at 8cms long X 6 cms wide. They have been found up to 17cms in length but good examples in the larger sizes can cost thousands of dollars each. This tooth is in preety good condition & is a good entry level specimen at an affordable price. It was discovered in South Carolina In the Usa & is from the Eocene epoch & dates to about 55 million years old.

| Fossilised Ammonites, Holtzmaden Germany
This is what is known as a "Mortality Plate" containing approximately a dozen complete or partial ammonite fossils of the Dactylioceras species. It was discovered in Holtzmaden in Germany & dates from the Jurassic era & is approximately 180 million years old. | Fossilised Mosasaur tooth
This is the fossilised tooth of a prehistoric marine reptile of the Mosasaur Anceps species. It was discovered on the Khouribga plateau in Morocco, northern Africa & dates to the upper Cretaceous period which makes it approximately 100 million years old.The tooth is a particularly large specimen of its type & is displayed in the original matrix in which it was found, it is in good condition & the actual tooth size is 6 cms long. Mosasaur species ranged from one meter long types to some species that grew up to 17 meters long, they were found across the globe including Australia & New Zealand.

| Fossli Fish "Dastlibe" species
Fossilised fish of the "Dastlibe" species which was found at the Santana Formations in Ceara, Brazil in South America. This is an excellent example of a rare species, sought after by collectors, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is from the late Cretaceous Period & is approximately 65-75 million years old & is in excellent condition.

This is a fossilised fish "Mioplosus Labracoides"species, from the Green River formations in Wyoming, U.S.A. It is from the Miocene era & is approximately 50 million years old.It is in excellent condition & comes with a certificate of authenticity.

| Russian bible illustration, c.1750. Hand painted.
A superb illustration of The Judgement from the Book of Revelation. Recto: Hand painted illustration on laid rag paper from a Russian illustrated Apocalypse. Painted within a border of greens, white, yellow and black. It depicts part of Revelation, Chapter 9, with visual references to “the bottomless pit”, the army of “two hundred thousand thousand” and the deaths of a third of them killed by the plagues of “fire and smoke and brimstone” – represented by the three angels with their swords. God sits enthroned in Heaven which is depicted by the other-worldly flowers. Eight of the figures in the foreground are bearded, and (presumably) are named below the bottom margin. Verso: Blank Source: Russia. Date: c.1750 Condition: This leaf is in very good condition. There is a degree of age-related surface marking and some staining in the blank margins, but these are largely masked off by the mat. There is some paint loss to the flames and minimal paint loss to the magenta of the robes of God and the centre angel. However the colours remain bright and luminous in what is a superbly executed illustration with delicate shading, fine detailing and dynamic composition. The leaf is unconditionally guaranteed genuine. Notes: An “apocalypse” is a text containing prophetic or symbolic visions, especially of the imminent destruction of the world and the salvation of the righteous. The Book of Revelation – the last canonical book of the New Testament - is also called the Revelation of St. John the Divine, or the Apocalypse of John. Image size: 245x155 mm. Mat size: 414x310 mm.
