| Kate Greenaway 1st. Addition 1921
A wonderful hard cover book of original Kate Greenaway pictures previously unpublished that were presented by her to John Rushton & other personal friends with appreciation by J.M.Cundall I.S.O.F.S.A. Published by Frederick Warne & Co. London & New York 1921. The book is in very good condition with only slight rubbing to corners as shown in photograph, unfortunately there is no dust cover. The spine is in excellent condition with all binding intact There are 20 coloured plates on what appears to be blotting paper pages with guard tissue between each illustration & previous page, & a portrait of Miss Greenway by Miss Lily Evans circa 1895. The dark shadows on the front page are from a picture under the tissue. The illustration in this listing is called " Dance Of Shepherdesses ". The book is in good clean condition with the name of a previous owner written inside the cover. All drawings were done in Late Victorian era from 1893-1899
