| Vintage Simon & Halbig German Doll Origi
Offered is this superb untouched and original German bisque headed doll with original early clothes. The dolls serial number is 1078 and it measures about 24 inches high when standing. Marked on the head "Simon & Halbig 1078 Germany 11 1/2 ". Maker operated from 1868 -1920. Genuine estate piece in very good original untouched condition. Clothes are a 4 piece outfit in excellent condition with original mother of pearl buttons and lovely lacework. There does not appear to be any cracks or breaks, eyes are clear and bright , beautifully painted eyelashes and detail. elastcis inside need replacing to make this a fully functional jointed doll and could probably do with a good clean. | A German porcelain baby doll head.
This wonderful Armand Marseille ( Am) porcelain baby doll's head marked A M 341 / 2 - Germany. It has fully functioning sleep blue eyes - the mechanism can be seen in the accompanying photos. I do not believe that this head has ever been on a doll body. In excellent condition, all face paint colours are bright and clear - It is approx 9.0 cm high. this mark is Ca1913-1925
