| Fossil Megalodon shark tooth
This is a fossilised "Megalodon" shark tooth from the giant prehistoric shark Megalodon which grew to the size of killer whales or larger. This particular example is a relatively small example at 8cms long X 6 cms wide. They have been found up to 17cms in length but good examples in the larger sizes can cost thousands of dollars each. This tooth is in preety good condition & is a good entry level specimen at an affordable price. It was discovered in South Carolina In the Usa & is from the Eocene epoch & dates to about 55 million years old.

This is what is known as a "Mortality Plate" containing approximately a dozen complete or partial ammonite fossils of the Dactylioceras species. It was discovered in Holtzmaden in Germany & dates from the Jurassic era & is approximately 180 million years old.
