| Georgian sterling silver fruit basket
Wonderful georgian sterling silver pierced fruit basket with entwined handle. Base of the basket has initialled cartouche surrounded by floral pattern. George III - 1761 by Emick Romer. In excellent condition for it's age. A small repair to base. A similar piece went to auction in the Us & sold for Au$6000. A very rare piece for the collector.

Attractive Silver Oval hallmarked basket,the body decorated with lovely pierced decoration all the way around with bead decoration leading to a plain base culminating with four pierced feet ending with claw feet. A swing handle with a reeded decoration. Henry Wilkinson was the silversmith. Hallmarked Sheffield 1852. Weight 16.5 Troy oz.Further photographs available on request.
