Large antique 5 drawer late 18th century Louis XVI commode chest of drawers in solid oak.. The gorgeous original patina to the solid oak rectangular body fitted with frieze drawer below dentilled mouldings and four drawers with moulded fronts. Each drawer with ornate solid bronze handles and matching escutcheons. Original locks to drawers. Superb quality patina and very desirable rare blonde oak finish. Raised on fluted and tapering legs traditional to 18th century French Louis XVI furniture. The ornate architectural details include turned column corcers with brass capitals and bases
