French Empire marble top dining table

Antique guerdon big elegant French Empire or Directoire gueridon style dining table early 19th century with later marble top. The lovely circular slab of black marble sits nicely on the original mahogany table top and has a nice patina of many decades of care. The mahogany table top below is made to extend but has no leaves. A removable central tapering leg is for the convenience of and stability for the fully extended table. Raised on tapering Directoire legs and with good original patina satinwood string inlay. This is a practical and strudy dining table to suit 4/6 person
