Antique painted oak Gustavian chest of drawers in the Louis XVI manner. Painted in antique Swedish white with gold leaf highlights to carved details. The 3 drawers fitted with ormolu handles and ornamental escutcheons. The top drawer with traditional 18th century reeded front in the Swedish Gustavian manner. When opened this oak top drawer has an internal secondary sliding drawer that allows for two tier storage within.
