Regency rosewood writing desk 1825

English late Regency period desk or library writing table . The desk is double sided but has two drawers on one side and two false drawers on the other. The highly figural Brazilian Rosewood top on mahogany base with lyre shaped supports and acanthus carved ornaments. The beuatiful rounded sides hint at a centre of the room use. Good original french polished patina. In very good order. English circa 1825
