English woolwork tapestry 1873 Pheasant

A pleasant pheasant, hand worked English stitched wool work depicting the image of a colourful pheasant with ferns, bracken and other greenery. Below the image of this magnificent bird is the signature of the artist and the year date of 1873. Newly framed in burr walnut frame but retaining original pine backing board, and possibly the original glass , due to weight. English 19th century
