A very deep chest of three drawers in mahogany or Cedar with tasmanian oak top . Unusual in that its drawers are very deep hence purpose built , probabaly mapping drawers or vestments. The orginial finish to the fronts and sides with massive slabs of solid dark timber that looks like pumb pudding mahogany or coastal Australian cedar. Drawers are dovetailed front and back and only the bottoms are of pine. Some minor wear and repair to fronts and open and close smoothly.
